Tami George

It is hard to believe, but I have been married to my Senior prom date for over 30 years now. We were blessed to raise two children, David and Amanda Rae. Our son was married in 2012 and has given us the additional blessings of two grandchildren. I love being a wife, mom and GG!

I was raised in church and came to know Christ as my Savior when I was 5 years old. I wish I could say I never strayed, but that is not reality. I am so thankful for God’s relentless Grace and unwavering Faithfulness to redeem every misstep, challenge and heartache caused by living in this broken world.

In February 2018, we relocated to Minooka from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Learning to navigate this new environment and season of life has been a bit of a struggle, but the passions of my heart have not changed. Nurturing, ministering to needs, loving, guiding and encouraging others are what make me tick. I love giving praise to the One who has never forsaken me and sharing His Truth and Goodness with those around me. I feel it important to let others know that struggle is normal, and they are not alone. Trusting is hard because life is hard, and Jesus is very aware of our weaknesses, even when we are not.
